I just got an email from Sam's Club, offering the computer that I just bought for only $100 more than I paid.
I suppose I'll survive.
In other matters, the search for a replacement for Fester & Steve or is it Frankenstiva goes on. I've narrowed it down to a 2010 Honda Insight, a 2007 Toyota Prius, or another Smart Fortwo. The Prius did not demo well... it was at a used car lot and wouldn't start... the battery was dead, but once it was jump started it ran nicely; mostly on the electric engine, because I didn't want to leave the dealer's lot.
The Insight, an update on mine, seats 5 and has a CVT transmission. I could get used to it, but it was a strange experience - the car never shifted or is that continually shifted.
The Smart is just a cool car, but that leaves us with only Samara's car if we need to seat more than two bodies at a time. It does come with a 1.9% interest rate for "qualified" buyers.

I think, in my humble opinion, that you should get the insight :)
I've wondered what a CVT would be like. Seems like I'd always be waiting for it to shift, but I guess if it feels smooth then I'd get used to it pretty quickly.
Samara, is that because you don't want us to 'borrow' yours? :)
(Ooo.... My word verification is "datie.")
The CVT is smooth, but it feels to me like the RPM's are always going up and that it SHOULD shift, but it seems fairly smooth. I don't know what it would be like to accelerate for passing...
Insight. :)
